The part-scholarship value will be based on 50%, whereas the full-scholarship value will be based on 100% of the published tuition fees for a one year diploma, or the 1st year of the Bachelor Degree.
A set number of scholarships will be offered at SAE Institute campuses in: Byron Bay, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne & Perth.
The scholarships are only offered for courses commencing in 2010

Part - Scholarship Entry Requirements
- Age: Minimum 17 years.
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
- Applicants applying for the equity scholarship must be from one of the following equity groups:
People from low socio-economic backgrounds;
Supporting documentation must be submitted with the application;
Note: Applicants must meet the standard published entry criteria for the program they are applying for
Diploma Duration
12 months full time
Assessment method and award
Selection of award recipients will be made by an appointed committee from the educational/industry/government representatives. All decisions of the committee will be final.
Selection criteria will include, but not be limited to, educational performance, past accomplishments, long range career goals, and extracurricular activities. Judging will be based upon the completed application information. It is the position of SAE Institute that the best student is a well-rounded student.
All applications will be handled with strict confidentiality. Once the application is received, it will be checked and verified for compliance, accuracy & supplementing documentation before it is even considered as a viable candidate. The committee judges will only receive applications that have satisfied this basic requirement.
SAE Institute reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate this program at its discretion without prior notice. Such actions will not affect those awards currently in process.
